Job Purpose

 

 

 

The role of National Sales Manager is to provide input to Sales Management for overall S&D strategy development, in order to gain leadership position in the market in line with long-term vision and business objectives.

 

You will be required to provide input for overall Marketing Plan preparation.

 

You will plan, develop and guide the implementation of the field sales & merchandising strategy.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify key customers and build a strong business plan and relationship with them.

  • Develop, propose and guide the execution of a long-term S&D strategy nation wise, by defining optimal product flow to retail.

  • Plan, develop and guide the implementation of the field sales & merchandising strategy, call mission and coverage principles, aligned with brand portfolio strategy, in order to ensure effective coverage of all supply chain layers.

  • Analyze sales performance by area, direct customer and brand, in order to facilitate the development and ensure further implementation of corrective actions to address variances.

  • Proactively identify, propose and guide implementation of Key Sales Indicators, in order to ensure continuous tracking of business results and evaluation against agreed performance benchmarks. Facilitate development and ensure accomplishment of Regional Sales Plans.

  • Recruit, motivate, coach and also direct the performance and personal development of the National Field Sales workforce in order to ensure a highly caliber, motivated and efficient team capable of achieving demanding objectives.

  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of Retail trade programs and contribute to its further upgrade.
