This is an exceptional opportunity to join the world’s largest supplier of flexible packaging.  With 68 plants in 23 countries, Amcor Flexibles Europe & Americas, a Division of Amcor, is a €multi-billion p.a. market leader, delivering innovative packaging solutions and enhanced quality products for the food, beverage, health and household markets.

We are now seeking to attract a dynamic, entrepreneurial and autonomous Retail Key Account Manager to join Amcor’s Fresh & Dairy Sales team, which forms part of the €multi-million Fresh, LED, Dairy and Capsules Cluster Business Unit, operating from 20 sites across Europe. 

You will be responsible for a number of key accounts, including the management and profitable growth of a £multi-million p.a., top three Retailer account, and your broad remit will include:

  • Delivering and managing a sales and business strategy, for specific key accounts, ensuring profitable volume growth.
  • Being the ‘voice of the customer’ internally, ensuring customers are provided with best cost, innovative and high quality solutions for their packaging requirements, quickly and efficiently.
  • Establishing multi-level relationships, providing a strong support network and developing and executing negotiations and contracts as opportunities arise.
  • Supporting the customer with effective key account strategies across the supply chain process.
  • Identifying opportunities for profitable business growth, within the specified key accounts, for other Amcor Group flexible packaging products.

Commercially focused and results driven, candidates will have a proven sales background and be able to demonstrate achievements in the profitable growth of a £multi-million p.a. Retailer key account. This experience will have been gained in a high complexity, ideally food packaging environment – knowledge of flexible packaging, whilst not essential, would be advantageous. An influential negotiator and communicator, you will also demonstrate true leadership and team building skills.

We are seeking to attract candidates who have the ambition and determination to progress into a sales leadership role in the longer term.
