Job Details

One of Britain's largest food producers is seeking an exceptional individual to assume the role of National Accounts Manager.

Reporting to a Business Account Manager, you will support their UK Wholesale/Cash & Carry business. Accordingly, you’ll need excellent commercial awareness and impeccable fact based selling skills.

As National Accounts Manager you will:

  • Deliver budget numbers through great customer service, increased range, great in-store execution, the right promotion plan and periodic reviews
  • Negotiate and agree a Sales Plan (range & promotions) with the customer that delivers internal & external objectives.
  • Drive the accuracy and delivery of monthly sales forecasts in collaboration with supply chain, factory forecasting and finance
  • Negotiate and deliver promotional programmes and ensure promotions are communicated, forecasted, delivered and evaluated in a timely manner
  • Work with colleagues to close distribution gaps and deliver New Product Launch plans (distribution, display, turnover targets)
  • Manage internal systems to plan & measure financials – TAAMs, TAAFs, Cognos.

You will be a creative thinker and team player who is used to embarking on winning relationships. As well as strong interpersonal and communication skills, you are comfortable working cross functionally at all levels and, ideally, have sales experience gained within the food industry.
