One of the UK’s most successful manufacturers of premium chilled food products have a requirement for an Interim Senior National Account Manager to help further develop business within Waitrose. There impressive product portfolio includes both branded and own label chilled packed and deli counter products. The business operates and manufacturers from a number of sites across the UK turnover in excess of £100m. Over the last decade the business has grown from strength to strength and as a result has become sole supplier to a number of retailers. Following on from this growth my client has now created an opening within the business for an ambitious individual to join to aid their future success.
Role
As a Senior National Account Manager you will be part of a team of 4 commercial individuals dedicated to growing and developing the Waitrose business. You will be working within a product category that contains in the region of 400 SKUs so having an eye for product innovation is essential. To succeed in the role you must possess a ‘can-do’ attitude, a desire to be challenged and a hunger to work in hands-on environment. You will report to the Commercial Manager, so you can expect decisions to be made quickly, as well as a degree of autonomy to influence the business.
Requirements
To be considered for this role you must be a driven and dynamic individual with a proven track record of growing and developing business within the top 6 multiples. As for product background, own label chilled experience is a must. It is important that you can fit into a team culture as you will be working very closely with the marketing and product development teams around you. The successful candidate will need to be able to join the business within the coming weeks.
