Job Details
Reporting in to the Retail Sales Controller, you will agree annual budgets for sales volume, turnover, gross margin, contribution and expenditure whilst monitoring performance against these budgets and take remedial action as appropriate and necessary. Working closely with internal teams, you will plan and agree with the marketing department a cohesive trade marketing strategy for each specified account. You will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities within the specified portfolio of customers for both Branded and Own Label products.
The successful candidate will have the following criteria:
- Significant experience managing at least one of the specified Top4 grocery accounts
- Experience in devising and executing the Joint Business Plan with the customer
- Exposure to both Branded and Own Label FMCG products - ideally Food/Drink
- Must be savvy on commercial awareness and have excellent negotiation skills
- Degree educated
The successful candidate will be ideally based in the North West, Midlands or West Yorkshire given you will be expected to spend 1-2 days per week at Head Office.
