Do you want to work for a global leader in the FMCG Food & Drink industry who have a number of leading brands to their name?

The Role:

Your main focus will be to develop sales and profitability for one of their Major brands/product areas  in Europe and Worldwide.

 

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • You will be commercially responsible for development of  the brand into European markets as well as managing the P&L
  • You will devise and produce consumer and customer centric marketing plans i.e. brand positioning strategy, communications strategy, NPD strategy, pricing strategy, promotional strategy, distribution strategy, product strategy etc
  • Presentation of the brand strategy, internally and externally.
  • Form reports and analysis based on market and consumer data. Provide professional reports and recommendations internally and externally from the data.
  • You will be responsible for the product portfolio, this may involve using the market information and internal sales data to recommend relevant actions, such as future promotions, de-lists, etc.
  • Supervising and implementing the NPD process for European and International products in conjunction with other stakeholders.
  • Produce the short, medium and long term business plans for the Products Business sector
  • Lead, direct, control & manage the development of direct report(s)
  • Set product quality standards via briefs to the Technical Department and take relevant decisions if products fall short of the desired standard.

Professional Skills and Competencies

  • Educated to a high standard, with experience of developing a relevant FMCG brand in Europe and preferably worldwide, with knowledge of European and International food retailers.
  • Proven success in senior brand marketing environment.
  • Knowledge of German or French is preferable but not essential.
  • The desired candidate will also have the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally will be a key part to your success, so you must be able to demonstrate a range of influencing styles and techniques.
  • Demonstrate financial and commercial acumen and strategic thinking, be analytical and creative
  • Confident and capable of operating at all levels
