We need a strong relationship manager to help Microsoft build an excellent understanding of Dixon’s business and ensure that objectives are met.

You will be responsible for creating a strong and unforgettable experience of the Microsoft brand in-store through demonstrating real passion towards the role and your desire to support Dixons Retail to deliver a first class customer journey. You will leverage your relationship building and training skills alongside sharing your passion for Microsoft products by engaging store colleagues and Store Managers.

To do this, it is likely you will have had experience in driving sales, educating retail sales professionals on products within a fast moving, possibly technology based, environment. Unquestionably, you will have proven experience of repeatedly growing market share for your products and have achieved this through excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills.

The Job

  • Driving sales through effective product training and brand advocacy alongside efficient territory management.
  • Influence store management in all areas that impact their store results:-

 

 

  • Using your knowledge of store systems to ensure you have all Head Office agreed SKUs are ranged to each store.
  • Drive consumer availability on full and promotional priced products
  • Drive pre-order of new product development through training techniques and understanding your stores demographics
  • Training store personnel to increase brand advocacy.
  • Setting objectives and plans to ensure unparalleled execution in store.
  • Identify opportunities for increased brand awareness and display /placement within the designated portfolio.
  • Understanding retailers to drive their and Microsoft product results.
  • Building strong retailer relationships with multi-level contacts across the store.
  • Developing high levels of insight and knowledge within technology.
  • Provide regular reporting and insight to drive improvements in Microsoft's business by continuous improvement of the business and activities.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of Microsoft products and the retailers business, objectives and marketplace.

The person

  • High degree of influencing and persuasive skills with the ability to both influence and implement
  • Graduate with a minimum of 6 months Sales/Retail experience ideally within the Technology industry
  • A proven passion for Technology
  • Confident with high levels of personal motivation, drive and enthusiasm
  • Flexible and organised attitude with the ability to deliver to challenging deadlines
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Must have full UK driving licence with less than 6 points and no previous bans as this role comes with a company car
