Sky Business is the commercial arm of Sky and was established over 15 years ago when pub landlords found that live football was a valuable way of attracting customers. Sky Business now has over 40,000 commercial customers in the UK and Republic of Ireland across a wide range of business sectors including pubs, bookmakers, offices, hotels, gyms, shops, and golf clubs.

Reporting to a National BDE Manager and you will be responsible for driving up revenue in your designated area of the country. You will be empowered to drive revenue and performance in a region, whilst also being flexible to work with 7 other team members to react quickly to national growth opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • You will be the key factor in your own success - you will have the freedom to manage and execute your own business plan, with the wealth of Sky Business' backing and support on hand whenever you need it.   • All our National Business Development Executives will be based in a quarter of the country, and assigned to different opportunities. 70% in their region, 30% nationally. Measured on both regional revenue and their own performance, they will be a key pillar in the success of the region.
  • 4 locations available, which are Scotland & Ireland, North England, South and South East and Wales and South West.
  • Flexibility will be key, with location changing sometimes weekly or monthly dependent on where the opportunity to grow Sky Business is prioritised.
  • You will have a dotted line into the National Sales Manager, you will support him or her on their objectives for the region.
  • Work away from home for up to four evenings a week, with Friday working day reduced to recognise the need to return to your home.
  • Design weekly plans to unlock new pubs or hotels - an entrepreneurial flair is key to see future opps and make them happen.
  • You will help coach and support under performers in the region and ensure they improve.
  • You will support the NSM in driving engagement scores through increased touch time and providing clear direction aligned with senior leadership.
  • You will be confident in driving the compliance agenda in your relevant region. Setting clear plans, and getting the region to deliver them is key to unlocking revenue.
  • You will be part of the Sales Performance team , providing insight and define future strategy at quarterly meetings with said team - this team includes Training and Business Analysis.
