Paul Nyman Consultancy are looking for a commercially focused Senior Product Manager based in the North West.

The Business

As one of the major FMCG employers in the North, this business has a solid base in both UK and European markets. They have gone through significant growth in the last 10 years, fuelled by constant first to market NPD innovation led by exemplary category insight and delivered by an impressive commercial team. Looking forward, they will continue to grow and prosper through becoming even better at their core strengths and so plan to recruit a commercially astute product manager to work with their largest retail customer. 

The Role

Efficient and timely product management will be key to the next evolution in the relationship with this key retail customer. Benefiting from flexible manufacturing capability, the next step will see a concerted strategy consolidate the company’s strong reputation for innovation. Continued development and re-development of the product base to meet ever-changing consumer need has given the business an expansive and highly complex product range which requires a dedicated professional to mange full-time.

The Individual

You will ideally have a background in account or product management, with experience working in an own label high sku category. More importantly, you will have a hunger to join this company in its rapid pursuit of dominance within the category. Project management skills and an ability to plan and execute an effective critical path will be backed up by a strong retailer facing personality.
