Job Details
Reporting to the group sales director, you will oversee a large team of account managers, whilst having dotted line reports across marketing and supply chain, ensuring optimal performance and delivery within a major retailer.
Externally you will build on UK and global relationships with the retailer, whilst internally, playing a significant role as part of the company's leadership team, helping to achieve profitability across the wider business.
This is an ideal move for an existing account controller, seeking a progressive move. Candidates will have experience of working in a branded (ideally blue chip environment) and demonstrate a highly successful track record within the grocery channel. A commanding people manager, you will have excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and possess a strong understanding of category management.
For high performers, there are strong prospects of moving into a sales director role within 18 months.
