The role of Sales Representative:
Sales Area: South East England ideally based Berkshire, Oxford, Bucks, Hampshire, Surrey, Herts, London, Essex
As the Sales Representative for this region you will manage a small portfolio of established customers including garden centres, builders’ merchants and hardware and use your skills and experience to identify and open new accounts. Specific responsibilities will include:
• Develop a business plan for the area that drives sales within independent retailers
• Own your regional sales and margin budget – implementing trading plans and promotions as required
• Develop solid trading relationships with key influencers and decision makers
• Regular feedback to the business
• Excellent customer administration and documentation
• Seek out and develop new business opportunities
You will play a key role within the team and enjoy constant communication with the rest of the field sales team and the National Sales Manager.
The person:
The Sales Representative we are looking for will have the following profile:
• Living in Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Bucks, Herts, Essex, London
• Engaging personality and creates an excellent first impression
• An experienced Field Sales Representative with a proven track record of success
• Experience selling to independent retailers
• A good standard of education and able to use spreadsheets and presentations
• Strong team player who inspires confidence and fosters a positive attitude

A Midlands based and respected manufacturing company with a strong market position in the supply of garden and hardware products to builders merchants and garden centres. Already well established in supplying major retailers they are now investing to expand their sales to the independent trade.
