It’s a very exciting time at Thorntons, we have re-evaluated our brand, our visual identity and our product strategy. We are re-launching our entire product range and are looking for a strategic Brand Manager to own and develop the 3 year vision and supporting strategy for our product ranges of the future. The Brand Manager will be responsible for customer led brand plans, detailing the range architecture and product strategy required to exceed sales and contribution targets for our multi channel business (Grocery, Retail, Online and International).

When you join us a Brand Manager you will:-

 

  • Be responsible for defining the product strategy for your areas of responsibility that enable us to meet the market share and financial aspirations of the business.
  • Define the appropriate range and pricing architecture in collaboration with internal channels through analysis of product performance, competitor information and market trends, including the identification and commissioning of customer and consumer research.
  • Drive the delivery of key launch campaigns through multi-channel communication plans and cross-functional teams, ensuring that these are delivered on time, within budget and meet business targets.
  • Nurture strong relationships & influence with key stakeholders internally and externally. This role includes interaction at all levels of the organisation and regular Exec and Board updates.
  • Provide the channel sales teams with first class selling tools (i.e sales presentations and sell in kits, product mock ups and samples)

 

 

Working as part of a small team of 4 strategic brand managers this is a fantastic opportunity to really influence and drive the marketing strategy for Thorntons. We need a strong brand manager who is familiar working alongside either retail or FMCG brands. You will have excellent project management skills and a proven track record of delivering creative and commercial viable products and communication plans. You will be an outstanding stakeholder manager as you will need to work closely with internal colleagues to execute your plans. A degree in a relevant marketing discipline is advantageous but not essential as equivalent experience will also be considered
