We have been retained exclusively by our client to search for a new National Accounts Manager.

The position provides an exciting opportunity to join a market leading business as part of a high caliber team with an outstanding reputation.  For the successful candidate the position offers genuine scope for personal growth and development, along with opportunity to make a significant contribution to the businesses success.

This role will be focused on driving growth in sector share, increasing revenues and margins and driving NPD into new category offerings.

To be successful you will have an outstanding track record in national account management and have been working with leading retailers along with having first-class stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.

Areas of responsibility will include:   

  • Directing and delivering sales to meet budgets and financial targets.
  • Directing and driving the product portfolio, management of key client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Growing and developing market share though the creation of business plans and sales strategies that deliver growth, profit and the right margins.
  • Managing existing accounts and identifying target accounts developing plans and delivering the required actions to convert these new business opportunities.
  • Partnering with the leadership team, sales and marketing groups to achieve the agreed sales targets and objectives.
  • Managing complex sales campaigns and high value negotiations.
  • Transforming sales for agreed underperforming product lines.

To be successful you will ideally:

  •   Be a highly accomplished communicator with excellent  personal impact and negotiation skills.
  •   Have excellent sales and account management skills and have worked with market leading retailers.
  •   Be able to demonstrate advanced IT skills in applications such as Word, Excel and Microsoft project.
  •   Be a strong team player with good networking and relationship building skills.
  •   Be able to demonstrate the highest levels of professional and personal standards with a ‘can do’ attitude.
