Basic Salary Circa:£40,000 to £50,000 + 10% OTE + 25 Days Holiday + Private Healthcare + Pension Scheme + Life Assurance x 3 + Great additional benefits
My client is an instantly recognised worldwide brand who are now seeking a talented Account Manager to join their commercial Asda business unit. The business is very well established, continues to grow and invest and suits bright high performing FMCG professionals who are well rounded commercially, but who also have a flair for Project Management.
The Role:
- Your time will be focused on account management responsible for two category areas, both branded managing the Asda business.
- Taking full P&L accountability with the remit of developing the relationship with Asda together with growing your bottom line.
- Reporting directly to the Senior Commercial Manager you will be required to maintain a strong structured communication strategy.
- You will be responsible for delivering the category strategy and delivering the retail sales objective for the main customer account.
- This position offers the successful candidate an opportunity to build an outstanding career within this organisation.
- This role is office based and will require regular domestic business travel.
The Requirements:
- A demonstrable track record of sales success and previous experience in managing national accounts is essential.
- Degree education would be advantageous.
- Ideally you will be from a blue chip background with 2 to 3 years’ experience.
- Enthusiasm and determination combined with a pragmatic approach to your work are essential traits along with the ability to build and maintain customer relations.
- Licensing experience would be a benefit but is not essential as full training will be given.
