Job Details
A major FMCG Manufacturer is looking for a dynamic National Account Controller or Business Unit Controller to head up the discounter accounts and manage a team. To drive the Company's competitive position and profitability through leadership, planning and operational effectiveness.
You will lead sales across the grocery channel within a major FMCG company. Key areas of responsibility will be: Input to the strategic direction of company and to drive the short and long term sales strategic plan. To develop the short and long term strategic direction and capabilities across the Accounts using a pricing model analysis to maximise profitability.
You will be responsible for sales demand forecast development, training and ongoing management, trade investment strategies and reviews. In reviewing company strategy you will observe key process areas and forecast periods, and manage implementation of improvements.
The Person:
You will be at a Senior Level with a good commercial background within the FMCG industry. You will have experience of working across the Top 4 at Senior Account Management level, with P&L and JBP responsibility. Experience of working in a similar capacity with the Discounters would also be of benefit. You will have a keen interest in business development and a passion for sales within the food and drink industry will be important. You will be educated to degree level.
