Regional Development Manager – Microsoft (Dixons Retail Team)

We need a strong relationship manager to help Microsoft build an excellent understanding of Dixon’s business and ensure that objectives are met.

If you excel at initiating and building relationships alongside delivering results and communicating effectively and want to influence the future of how consumers buy their Microsoft computing products.

The Role:

  • Drive Regional Business Plans and performance of the Dixons Retail Estate for a specified division, supported by the Dixons team
  • Influencing of senior contacts and store/regional management to gain access to client/ regional meetings.
  • Provide regular reporting and insight into adapting the business and activities to drive improvements in Microsoft's business.
  • Identify opportunities for increased brand awareness and display /placement within the designated portfolio.
  • Understand business customer performance, discuss with store/regional management and implement appropriate steps to maximise sales.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of client’s business, objectives and marketplace.
  • Drive and deliver results in line with agreed Key Result Areas, by focusing on the continuous improvement of store performance.

 

 

      Personal Requirements:

  • High degree of influencing and persuasive skills
  • Proven track record of negotiating and challenging at senior level
  • Strong Retail/Sales background
  • Experience within Technology industry preferred
  • Confident with high levels of personal motivation, drive and enthusiasm
  • Flexible and organised attitude with the ability to deliver to challenging deadlines
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • High level of interest in technology
  • Full UK driving licence essential (with no more than 6 points or previous bans) as the package for this role includes a company car.
