Business Growth Manager

A leading UK FMCG manufacturer with a portfolio of leading food brands are currently searching for an ambitious and talented Business Growth Manager. This is a new role and team within business, and to that extent the role is likely to evolve over time.

Based: Hertfordshire

As Business Growth Manager your background will either be sales, business development, marketing, category or revenue background within FMCG. The successful individuals will have a more commercial background with B2B and B2C experience/understanding.

You will be new business focused identifying opportunities within existing relationships as well as seeking new opportunities with new partners.

Key Responsibilities will include

- Analytical work to create deep consumer, partner / customer, competitor & market insight. Knowledge of a variety of research tools (quant & qual) in key.

- Develop strategies for business growth using deep insight:

- Develop partner / brand activity plans to bring strategy to life.

- NPD pipeline creation for brands

- Business cases for capital investment to support new Partner launches or brand launches


The ideal candidate will have previous experience in

- Strategy creation in a branded B2B or B2C environment
- Brand or marketing management experience in a B2B or B2C environment
- Business development responsibility in B2B or B2C environment and/or
- Account management / direct trading responsibility for UK retail customers
- Evidence of successful business growth leadership (in a branded, retailer brand or business development role) with clear results
- Experience in managing P&Ls
