Our client is a marketing leading food manufacturer with a portfolio of brands familiar to us all.  They continue to go from strength to strength boasting impressive growth figures, supported partially by the acquisition of other well-known industry leading brands.

Because of this achieved growth, the business offers a fantastic platform for those wanting to learn and develop a career in FMCG sales, with regular career-progression opportunities on offer to high-performers.

The business is currently looking to recruit a National Account Executive to provide support on two of their leading grocery customer accounts – Tesco and Sainsbury’s - and potentially assume direct budgetary responsibility for part of the existing portfolio.

Reporting directly to the Senior Business Manager for Tesco and Sainsbury’s, the successful candidate will get full exposure to the grocery sales process from concept to launch.  You will provide support on a daily basis by utilising customer, category and consumer data to help deliver profitable growth for the business.

You will have internal and external cross-functional responsibility for all aspects of the customer relationship and act as the lead contact for their day-to-day enquiries.

The business is looking to attract highly ambitious individuals keen to develop at a positive pace.  There is every likelihood that additional direct customer responsibility will be added to the responsibility of your role as soon as you are ready.

The successful candidate can progress from a variety of backgrounds, but will ideally have retail exposure either as a supplier, or whilst working for a retailer.  Candidates currently operating at NAE levels within branded FMCG environments, or at NAM level within different customer arenas but keen to progress in to grocery sales are equally sought after.
