Combine your leadership and B2B Marketing skills to drive corporate and cultural sea-change for our client, a leading Foodservice Provider.  

Our client is working towards its five-year plan, which includes a large scale investment programme to deliver a highly compelling customer proposition and continued profit growth. The programme will strengthen our clients’ network infrastructure, product development, systems and people. As the leading supplier in the food market industry they now seek talented people with the knowledge, skills and experience to be part of their transformational change.   

As Marketing Director – Corporate Division, your major challenge will be to provide their Corporate and Public Sector sales teams with the marketing strategy and support materials to generate significant growth by 2016, whilst repositioning the business from a generalist to a sector-focused specialist.  Reporting to and working closely with our Managing Director to create and deliver the strategy across each business sector, your key responsibilities will lie in four key areas:

* proposition - partnering each sector to understand, create and deliver the right product and services, in close collaboration with central resources

* new business - developing bespoke pitches and marketing collateral which clearly differentiate our specialist sectors from  each other – and us from the competition

* marketing activity - to support cross-selling to existing customers

*the continuing delivery and development of the corporate five-year plan - including ownership of cultural change communication.

You’ll also need to ensure that Corporate/Public sector range requirements are communicated to Category Management team.

Educated at least to Degree level in a marketing or business-related discipline, you have a significant, proven track record in B2B marketing within the food industry, underpinned by a background selling to corporate customers. With incisive strategic vision and highly skilled in the development of the product/service proposition, you combine the ability to provide charismatic leadership to multi-discipline teams with the communication and influencing skills to achieve buy-in from all key stakeholders, both within and outside the company.  In addition to your high level of client focus and ability to assimilate complex product data, you’ll also bring:

* very strong commercial, presentation and analytical skills

* the ability to grasp what individual sectors really need

*IT-literacy and well-developed project-monitoring capabilities.
