Marketing Director / Head of Marketing / Marketing Controller - FMCG
Our client is an ambitious and exciting business who have built an excellent reputation for innovative foods produced to the highest quality standards. They have a diverse customer base covering both the Retail and Foodservice sectors and they are now seeking to strengthen their team with the appointment of a senior and strategically focused marketing professional.
The role will report to board level and will involve the successful and ongoing development of the Marketing Strategy to assist in driving sales across the company’s product ranges. Your role will be to showcase the companies products through numerous marketing channels and promote awareness within existing customers of the full range of products available. You will be required to create a customer strategy that links to competitor activity and that can drive the business forward. Responsible for the marketing budget, you will work closely with the sales team to deliver relevant messages in a manner that continually engage the customer base and give you a real market presence.
To be successful in this role you must be skilled in customer insight and be able to bring a new level of strategic thinking that will for the first time encourage Marketing to drive the business as opposed to NPD. With a very strong UK customer base and a rapidly emerging European customer base a knowledge of the major multiples or how consumers purchase an FMCG product is essential.
As an experienced Head of Marketing or Marketing Controller at a very senior level you should have a real flair for business coupled with strong commercial acumen. You will ideally come from a background that is FMCG, Retail or Food. In return for this exciting opportunity you will be remunerated with a generous salary along with other company benefits.
