Senior Online Trading manager - High street retailer

A brand new opportunity for an online trading professional to develop a new team of 3 people in the e-commerce department. This is a super opportunity to join a fun business with a great high-street presence in a period of exciting and sustained growth.

You will be responsible for joining up the various existing and emerging customer touch points, this role is expected to continuously propose, evaluate and oversee changes to the digital channels; seeking to optimise short and long terms sales returns.

Further responsibilities include:

* Proactively identify online trading opportunities to improve and accelerate sales and profit performance.

* Recommend direct promotions to drive incremental sales via customer loyalty, cross sell, increasing AOV, targeting a new customer base etc.

* Prepare and lead regular trade updates and feedback sessions to the merchandise team to identify opportunities and agree action plans for underperforming areas.

* Forecast and Planning

Experience required:

• Online Retail experience is essential
• Editorial and copywriting eye – ability to critique from a customer’s perspective
• Experience of creating management reports and presenting to senior level management
• Familiarity and enthusiasm for online world
• Familiarity with B&M processes

Technical knowledge (desirable):

• An understanding of the principles of web analytics tools
• A good understanding of online marketing
• An understanding of Web 2.0 methodologies
• Comfortable working with web developers
• Email campaign management
