Then welcome to the most exciting and challenging role in grocery you are likely to find anywhere this year.
In relentless pursuit of continuous double digit growth, the Founders have created a brand with their blue sky thinking and inspirational concepts that meet the changing needs of today’s health conscious consumers . They have quickly created a £multi-million business and now look set to step change growth plans both in the UK as well as internationally. This is just the start. In order to grasp new opportunities and lead the business in new directions they are looking for an exceptional commercial General Manager.
This is a post that offers free reign to run the operation as if it were your own: a level of responsibility that brings unparalleled challenges and rewards. You will be accountable to the Investors and Shareholders for results and performance. You will use your insatiable commercial flair to build on established strengths in grocery as well as on-trade / Horeca account penetration and product distribution. As a member of the Board, you will be a formidable voice for change, creating and championing the strategic direction of the business.
A highly skilled and robust Commercial Director with genuine small business flair, you will have unquestionable experience of branded FMCG environments, ideally working within small medium enterprise right now – and you will have to prove it. Operational P&L accountability and extensive customer management experience is essential.
Quite simply, we are looking for someone who will live and breathe the business 24/7. A results driven all-rounder who will stop at nothing to be a success and who relishes the prospect of running the whole show – from the day to day fundamentals of leading a small team in every aspect of business management, to putting together a compelling three year business plan that brings the business to life at pace. Your passion for success, entrepreneurial spirit and sheer determination to succeed will be almost as important as your understanding of running a company.
