The role is responsible for developing and implementing strategic direction through pricing model analysis, sales demand forecasting and trade investment strategy. As well as creating and managing the commercial calendar for a range of ambient grocery products.
The role focuses upon analysis and collation of pricing information to create pricing models in order to understand the key dependencies for the brands. You will be driving demand planning through acct teams with regular reviewing at key reforecast periods. There will also be an aspect of competitor and potential acquisition target analysis.
You will be accountable for effective sales reporting by channel, identifying key customer trends and sharing insight with sales and marketing. This will include setting the Outlet Standards by channel, monitor and communicate progress made by period.
You must have an analytical background and be financially literate. You will have experience in sales operations, forecasting and demand planning. Your experience should fall within the FMCG industry. You must be educated to degree level and have strong influential communication skills. You have to have an understanding of the distributor business model and be commercially aware.
