An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast growth spirits business. Their portfolio includes a mix of new, premium spirits brands being launched within the UK market as well as established high volume brands which are household names. They are a fast paced business who are growing fast, and part of this growth means they need a Trade Marketer to join their vibrant London based team.

This role is integral to the business, you will be responsible for building marketing programmes for key customers within both the on and off trade, be directly involved with delivering POS, delivering distribution, display, promotion and pricing.  There will be a mixture of collaborating with the Marketing Director, the sales team and working independently to implement annual trade marketing programs and activities consistent with Brand strategies including execution and follow up of promotions. Review, evaluate and initiate trade marketing programs and activities for effectiveness and efficiency. Make recommendations of brand programs and promotions needed to improve performance and build showcase activations. Our client is an exciting and quirky company therefore ensuring their brand values are effectively communicated is crucial. 

This is a role for a high calibre London based marketer. The ideal candidates will have experience working within the spirits market, ideally within a trade marketing role, however we will also consider someone with 1-2 years’ experience in a more general marketing position within the alcoholic drinks industry. You will be a creative individual who is experienced and comfortable in presenting imaginative marketing solutions to buyers; be proactive in identifying and converting opportunities; and a strong advocate for premium spirits brands. An independent thinker and self-driven worker will further add to your success. This is a small business that will grow quickly, so you need to be equally as fast paced with a real openness to change, and a desire to work hard to make a difference and succeed.
