Job Details

Some of the best-loved grocery brands in the country are manufactured and supplied by our client, a solid SME sized food business with strong reputation and a very bright future.

Driven by their mission to supply brands associated with provenance, industry-leading innovation and family meal occasions, their portfolio boasts brands with strong heritage and consumer loyalty.

As the business looks to effortlessly integrate a recently acquired food business, they need two interim Marketing Managers to lead projects for their two largest category portfolios.

As Marketing Manager you will be responsible for leading a team and driving the performance of your respective portfolio through effective brand planning and the management and execution of product innovation.

You will work closely with the Marketing Director and other key stakeholders to provide regular updates around the delivery of strategic projects.  Due to the nature of such projects, the roles require candidates able to demonstrate flexibility and prepared to spend nights away from home through the week.

In order to be considered for either role, applicants must demonstrate success whilst operating within recognised branded FMCG manufacturing arenas.

The business is looking to offer successful candidates firm commitment with 3-6 month contracts in place offering competitive day rates plus all related expenses.

Company

For over a decade now, Food Industry Associates Ltd have proven to be a recruiter of choice for ambitious SME food and beverage manufacturers across the UK.  We don't recruit for the big corporates by choice.  Instead, we choose to work with companies with personality, entrepreneurial flare (not process), looking to disrupt the market with cutting edge innovation to provide consumers with better, healthier choices.

Are you an early stage start-up struggling to find the right solution to help you gain your fist listings in a specific customer channel before you can raise the budget to employ somebody on a permanent basis?  Maybe you know you need to source a commercial leader but aren't 100% clear in what format, or how to adequately incentivise somebody from a much larger business to join your mission?  Come speak to us.

If you're a more established business looking to bring fresh talent on board to drive ambitious sales targets, source a creative innovator to help you drive in to new extended categories, or looking to strengthen in marketing / category terms, again, come speak to us.

We've a proven record in recruiting talent for an array of businesses, helping them source commercial talent to help them achieve their goals.  From early stage sales talent through to equity-incentivised leadership roles, we've proven time and time again to find the right people for our clients at the first attempt.

How are we different to most of our competitors?  Unlike most, we don't have as diverse a portfolio of clients we work with.  However all those we do work with continuously come back to us whenever they next have another need.  In our opinion successful recruitment is achieved when two businesses truly 'partner' and collaborate together.  In our opinion the better we know you, the better we understand all the extra elements aside from simple skillset and experience to ensure the right 'fit' is identified at the first attempt.  In our opinion, this is recruitment, done properly.
