One of Europe’s most successful manufacturers of both chilled and ambient food products have created a new opportunity for a National Account Executive to help further develop their UK grocery business. Within the last 5 years the UK business has grown profitably by in excess of £40m, this is largely due to their constant development of market leading products. The business manufactures all their own products from their 25 factories within the UK and Europe. Their impressive product portfolio includes both branded and own label premium ambient foods as well as a wide range of chilled dairy products. They have a very strong offering within all of the top 6 grocery multiples as well as the various foodservice channels. Following on from the recent growth and the increased demand for their products they have created a new position for a National Account Executive to support the wider commercial team across the top 4 retail accounts.

The role

As National Account Executive you will support the Senior National Account Manager within a designated customer, this is likely to be Tesco, J Sainsbury or Waitrose. You will be tasked with driving and developing year on year growth ahead of the key competitors. You will be working closely with the NPD team to aid their development of their impressive range of exciting products with the goal of increasing both revenue and profitability. Using your excellent relationship building skills, you will be expected to foster strong relationships both internally and with your external customers.

Requirements

To be considered you will be an ambitious and driven individual with strong negotiation and face to face skills. In addition you will need to have some exposure to sales ideally in an Executive or Field Sales position within the FMCG industry. The successful candidate will need to display commitment and the will to progress in a very forward thinking successful business. The role is office based from their head office in Cambridgeshire.
