Our client is a leading food solutions organisation within their sector across the UK and Europe. They are committed to providing their customers with outstanding service, products and solutions, its people with a ‘great place to work’ and its suppliers with a great company to do business with. The company is looking to further develop their team by recruiting a high calibre New Business Manager capable of driving the company onwards.

THE ROLE

This is an exciting time to join in this newly created high profile role, where our client is  looking to further build upon their successful growth. The role requires you to develop, manage and deliver the New Business Plan. The role will be 100% new business focused and you will be responsible for bringing into the company new, high profile customers and business prospects. As such, the successful candidate will be required to develop successful relationships and network to win more new business, adding value to an already successful company. You will be required to generate a new range and depth of industry contacts, with the onus being on you to deliver profitable new business growth and effectively achieve new business. This role is ideal for an ambitious and talented new business development manager looking to have an impact in a company from day one.

THE CANDIDATE                              

We’re looking for a driven individual who has proven success within new business development and who has ideally worked within FMCG. Successful individuals must have proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels coupled with the commercial awareness and analytical thinking necessary to maintain business relationships, whilst being pro active enough to simultaneously bring in new clients.

The successful candidate will have;

  • Previous business development experience
  • Proven customer relationship management
  • Customer forecasting skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Drive, enthusiasm and potential to progress
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Degree calibre
