As one of the U.K's largest suppliers of personal care products, this blue chip business have an excellent reputation within FMCG and are responsible for a number of power brands that are found in our homes today. Their product portfolio can be found globally and they are brand leaders across a number of categories. They place a huge amount of emphasis on their company values and the implementation of these values has excelled their growth of recent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a specific brand to deliver all KPIs including net sales, share, and margin objectives. They are also responsible for specific marketing projects and deliverables in the marketing team and communicating all risks and opportunities within the portfolio responsibility on a timely basis to the manager. This person would manage the development of home to store' plans, specifically Brand activation, sampling and PR. Other key responsibilities include managing the detailed allocation and phasing of the advertising and promotions budget for a defined portfolio, as well as supporting the marketing manager in the development of the strategic plan and the mid-year review and annual budget process.

We are looking for a degree educated experienced Brand Manager to fill this role. The ideal candidate for this role will have the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally and have the confidence to challenge the status quo influencing people at all levels of the organisation. Strong leadership qualities are essential to gather relevant information efficiently, express ideas clearly and simply, listening to others and putting the consumer and the customer at the heart of everything. This candidate must be able to balance a workload through effective project management in a high paced environment and deliver on all portfolio responsibility whilst meeting wider project marketing needs. It is also important that this candidate is a team player, has excellent communication skills and an authoritative approach.
