A fantastic opportunity to shape the discounter, convenience and route to market sector with one of the UK's Leading snacks and confectionary companies.

Due to continuing success on a national scale, our client is looking to recruit a Customer Marketing Controller to focus on identifying opportunities for growth within the UK convenience, impulse and discounters.

Reporting to the Head of Category, the role will encompass all aspects of developing sales, category and brand building. The role will require an individual who has the ability to develop and establish a clear pricing strategy, whilst spreading and enforcing brand awareness - strengthening customer perception.

Experience of trade or customer marketing is essential, good working knowledge of Brand Marketing, Product Management or a Category Manager would also be desirable. Understanding of the FMCG market is crucial; with a broad knowledge of both sales and marketing techniques being highly advantageous.

Your background should include marketing in some form; qualifications or experience as an trade/customer marketing Manager, or sales experience in a customer facing environment within the industry. You must be a dynamic individual, demonstrating a high level of initiative, be confident, presentable and a ‘go getter’ mentality. Furthermore having a good commercial acumen is vital in the role, a strategic thinker, to compliment a high level of self motivation. Evidence of successful sales and brand building will be well received.

The successful candidate would be within commutable distance of West London but there is flexibility on some home based working for the right candidate.
