National Account Manager – Wholesale – Cash & Carry
Ideally based within 1 - 1/2 hour of Buckinghamshire
£44,000 + (Bonus Up to 30%) + Car + Benefits
Our client is a branded non-food business with exciting plans for the future. They manufacture a range of well known brands and due to an internal promotion they now seek an ambitious account manager to manage a selection of their wholesale customers.
Reporting to the Account Controller the role is to develop a business plan and sales strategy that will deliver both profit and growth within this category. Your key performance indicators will include developing relationships cross functionally, driving sales and managing the trade promotional spend, developing retailer category plans ensuring they integrate with company and sector strategy.
Ideal candidates will have an FMCG background that has provided them with classical sales training and an understanding of the core needs of account management. An ability to manage negotiations backed up with a grasp of category management is essential.
This role is heavily biased towards sales negotiators with the ability to manage both short and long term sales opportunities.
This role will appeal to candidates who have strong wholesale experience (Regional – Key Accounts) and have had some exposure to JBP’s and P/L who are looking to make the move into a National Account Management level position.
