Our client is owned by one of the largest food businesses in Northern Europe and the dominant force within its niche and innovation driven category, where its clients include some of the UK’s best known and most respected Retailers.

The business we represent is one of the most successful and progressive within this niche Chilled food category and they have experienced dramatic growth over the last 3 years with both Own Label and License Branded products. Their success have been achieved through a constant focus geared towards innovation, development and customer satisfaction.

As part of a wide refocus of one of its key and instrumental functions they are now looking to further strengthen their commercial structure by recruiting two senior commercial candidates to assist in the implementation of a new growth and customer strategy.

As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of a commercial strategy to drive sales growth through existing customers, as well as the potential expansion of the current customer and brand portfolio.

This will be achieved through leading the commercial agenda to deliver effective category management and a programme of developing new and innovative products that match current consumer trends, alongside managing and developing key relationships, at all levels, with the aim of building a long-term, growing and profitable business that fits with the ambitious growth strategy of the business.

As highlighted above we are looking to attract individuals who already have a proven and acknowledged personal brand within Top Tier Retail and the Chilled Foods sector; this role is only attainable for the commercially competent and best in class.
