Job Details
A newly created role is now available working for a leader in category who is at the forefront of the UK Grocery market. With an exciting 18mths of NPD behind them, this business is now investing in to their marketing and innovation divisions and is seeking top talent to continue that growth.
This role will be responsible for developing category insight and the understanding of competitors' strengths & weaknesses whilst championing the innovation agenda across commercial functions.
.Working closely with the category team, you will co-develop category strategy and demonstrate how to win with the shopper & consumer across various channels. In addition, you will also help the customer category management team to develop the category selling story to drive listings, in-store display & promotions, shopper support plans
The successful candidate will have the following criteria:-
- Solid experience working for a large FMCG brand within a Category/Insights team
- Strong involvement in NPD and innovation projects
- Good understanding of market data and the ability to identify trends and market gaps for innovation
- Cross-functional experience working with Category, Insights and Commercial teams
- Must be degree educated
- Comfortable with working in the East Midlands on a daily basis
