Senior Category Manager - M&S

Our client is one of the UK’s largest food manufacturers who provide high quality fresh cooked and ambient food. They are currently looking for a Senior Category Manager to join their team in order to support the commercial director and to drive forward change and bring in fresh ideas.

As Senior Category Manager you will working closely with M&S as a customer; as their point of contact you will be developing and building on the existing relationships as making sure that their needs are met and excellent support is in place.

You will be in charge of ensuring that your team are fully aware of the customer briefs and are focused on providing the best results for both the customer and the business as a whole. You will also be working closely with the commercial and NPD departments to build up knowledge of the market competitors so to stay ahead of them and develop a competitive advantage; this will ensure that the business is focused on the consumer in order for the division to grow and increase market share.

To be considered for this role you should have experience at the level of; Category Manager, Customer Marketing Manager, Senior Category Manager, Senior Customer Marketing Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record across Category Management and an established working relationship within many of the Top 5 retailers. You should have excellent market knowledge and the ability to influence and develop team members and strive provide the best.
