(First 6-months focussed on London)

£competitive, KPI bonus plus company car 

 

Due to a new client relationship, ShopSmart Agency is currently recruiting for an experienced Field Account Manager with demonstrable success in leading and managing highly successful field sales teams within Convenience & Impulse. This newly formed field sales team will be selling in and managing long term distribution of a brand new range of Energy Drinks and Soft Drinks.

Our client; Global Functional Drinks is a young and ambitious company that specialises in soft drinks from brand inception to brand promotion. The company uses original recipes developed in-house. Their products come in a variety of flavours and enjoy unique functional characteristics that make them suitable for a wide range of occasions.

Salary:  £competitive, KPI bonus plus company car

Location: This is a national role but for the first 6-months sales activity will be focussed within the inner M25 London area. Therefore, Applicants should be willing and able to spend a good proportion of time in London.   

The Role:

  • Representing ShopSmart Agency, Global Functional Drinks and the product range to the highest possible standard
  • Delivering our strategy, client objectives and targets
  • Driving new stockists and distribution across the retail estate
  • Producing periodic reports and review presentations to management and key stakeholders
  • Identifying areas of opportunity to further develop the product range within the category
  • Managing, motivating and leading a national team of Field Sales Executives
  • Setting team and individual targets as appropriate
  • Managing high levels of quality and consistency in all areas of the programme

The person we are looking for:

  • You must have experience in managing a Field Sales team
  • You must have demonstrable experience of the Convenience & Impulse sector
  • You will have previous experience in a client facing role combined with exceptional people management skills
  • You should be experienced in reading and analysing results data in addition to producing and presenting periodic reports to management and key stakeholders
  • You will be able to create successful sales strategies, aligning KPIs and targets for your team in order to achieve our overriding sales and distribution targets
  • You will be an excellent communicator with first class influencing and negotiation skills
  • You will be highly motivated and sales focussed
