The Role: With a national remit and ideally being based in the Midlands, this new National Field Sales Manager role is to look after teams of regional sales managers and with over a hundred indirect reports. You will work closely with the head of field sales and national account managers to decide strategy for the grocery channel as well as its implementation, with responsibility for a channel worth in excess of £200 million. Superb training, support and ongoing career prospects exist here for the successful National Field Sales Manager.

The Company: Our client is a household name and one of the largest confectionery companies globally, with a product range that encompasses well-recognised branded confectionery goods. With exciting double digit growth plans over the next four years, they turnover in excess of £6000 million and now seek a new National Field Sales Manager to fulfil a new role for them.

For this National Field Sales Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Strong field sales background
  • You will have either managed a field sales team or have managed National Accounts
  • Candidates will be degree-educated and from an FMCG sales background
  • Pragmatic, intelligent and forward thinking people do well here
