Procurement Senior Consultant

My client is a global consultancy specialising in the development of supply chains through a comprehensive pool of experienced industry professionals. Using deep operational experience and established business skills to challenge, guide and implement they focus at recruiting the best people aligning culture and collaborative approaches, making them unique in the sector.

My client is seeking a Senior Consultant to join procurement practice. Candidates should be experienced procurement professionals with a track record of delivering outstanding tangible results for their clients

You will need to be comfortable working with different businesses in a variety of industry sectors and in the delivery of procurement improvement initiatives. These will range from procurement strategy through to process improvement across a wide range of procurement and supplier management disciplines. Home location is flexible within the UK but you must be prepared to deliver assignments across the country and the rest of Europe - travel is guaranteed.

Drive, enthusiasm and flexibility to be successful in this dynamic young business is essential with the role reporting directly to a Board Director.

Essential

Minimum of a 2:1 degree from a Russell Group University.
A proven track record of at least six years procurement experience.
A total of five years industry experience within a blue chip organisation.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable

A background in consulting is not essential but would be extremely advantageous.
Experience of working in a multi-site or international environment.
Strong background in foreign languages.
