My client is global leader in white goods, small domestic appliances and homecare essentials.  As a leading blue chip organisation they have secured their place as market leader in white goods and continue to develop their products to appeal to their tech savvy consumer. Their development of ‘eco’ products has shown their ability to adapt to the market trends and shown they are pioneers of innovation. With a turnover of £60million and growing they now seek an ambitious Key Account Manager to join their expanding team.

This position has been created to support and develop the homecare essentials side of the business which include products such as filtration, cleaning chemicals. There are a small number of existing accounts, although the key focus of this position is to open new business with retailers such as Homebase, Argos the Top 4 Grocers and non-core Trade partners. You will work with the sales team members to develop a network of new accounts managing the business that you gain. You will have full profit and loss accountability and work cross functionally with the Trade Marketing Manager and Essentials Category Manager to ensure you are providing the correct products for both your accounts and consumers. You will be heavily involved in creating strategy for your customers and will work in conjunction with the Head of Sales to do so. Most of your time will be spent out of the office visiting existing and potential accounts although occasional travel to the office in the South East of England will be required.

In order to be considered for this exciting opportunity you will currently be working within a similar position dealing with multinational retailers such as those mentioned. Experience with profit and loss is essential, as is experience with similar fast moving consumer goods. You will be comfortable working autonomously and working with flexible working hours.
