National Account Manager

National Account Manager required for this Market leading business within the confectionary industry.

Role description



As a National Account Manager for this successful, independent continental biscuit business you would be: -

• National Account Manager for several large Major multiple accounts in the North of England with accountability for our activity and sales performance with those customers

• Responsible for creating and implementing annual Joint Business Plans

• Prepare and implement detailed sales promotional plans by customer to achieve agreed annual sales budgets

• Ensure timely communication to and from the business in order to operate effectively and for the business to be kept up to date with customer & competitor feedback reports to Trading Manager.

• Role can be home or office based, the person would have to report into the Hertfordshire office on a weekly basis.



Bahlsen are looking for the following: -

• Have held the role of National Account Manager within the FMCG industry- experience in biscuits or confectionary desirable but not essential.

• Must have a proven sales track record with a strong working knowledge of national accounts and associated systems / ways of working.

• This is a position for an independent, self-starting and driven individual who continually strives for personal, team and Company success.

• Bahlsen is looking for someone who is a good communicator, flexible, ambitious, enjoys working with branded products within a small entrepreneurial office environment.


You will also have the following skills:

• Professional, proven sales background, able to create and maintain relationships with buyers and head office teams

• Proven ability to develop and sustain business delivery with key customers

• Self-motivated and with the confidence to develop and execute joint business plans with major customers. Commercially astute, able to handle the financial management of accounts

• Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
