We hold the 3rd largest category share combined across both brands and retailer brand. Our brands include Golden Wonder, Mr Porky, Midlands, REAL, Jonathan Crisps and Tayto. We work collaboratively with our customers on retailer brand across major multiples, convenience, foodservice and export. Some exciting new opportunities are available at our head office based in Corby as we expand our commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:

This is a new role, with one direct report, working for the Category Director across all sectors including major multiples, discounters, convenience, independents & symbols, cash & carry, wholesale, vending, off trade, foodservice and export. Core responsibilities include:

  • Channel plans utilising data and shopper insights to provide recommendations to drive category distribution and market share
  • Own label plan by category and product technology
  • Category £RRP architecture
  • Develop, drive and implement channel marketing activity as agreed to budget
  • Brand promotion approach and plan guidelines for sales to implement
  • Implementing brand plans in the major multiples at retail and point of purchase
  • Influencing the sales team on brand plan implementation in non-multiple sectors
  • Setting of and ensuring the achievement of brand targets/KPI’s by both sales and marketing
  • Managing a direct report who will provide the sales team with the appropriate tools, materials and presentations to deliver at retail. Also specific brand support materials, monitoring/reporting on brand plans and promotion activity along with competitor activity monitoring and product benchmarking

The Candidate:

Used to working with sales, category, marketing, NPD and customers to influence at the point of purchase. Able to demonstrate delivering tangible results through excellent communication, organisation and influencing skills. Degree educated with minimum 8 years work experience in a similar role in FMCG, preferably within food. Including working with the top 4 multiples utilising continuous data.
