As a leading convenience food business with a turnover in excess of £1bn, my client are a market leader in their category and dominate the chilled food to go sector. They operate from around 14 sites in the UK and have a number of sites abroad. They are currently undergoing huge growth, with £30m being invested into the site to facilitate the expansion. Customers include major retailers, foodservice providers, manufacturers, petrol forecourt operators and airlines. As a business, they offer strong career development opportunities and empower employees to be self-sufficient through a high degree of autonomy.  Due to their recent success, they are looking to add a Business Manager to the team.

As Business Manager, you will be responsible for managing the relationship with M&S on the hot food to go category and chilled ready meals. You will be expected to deliver business plans, manage day to day performance and create opportunities for cost reduction. You will ensure all promotional and NPD activity meets with performance criteria and grow the overall account. You will also work closely with the innovation and category teams to deliver category plans and enforce a category management position.

To be considered for the opportunity, you must be a driven, dynamic individual drive to progress and succeed. You must have commercial or account management experience and although a background with M&S is preferred, any retailer relationships would be considered. You must be commercially savvy with the ability to translate insight into commercial solutions.
