Job Details

Operating in a dynamic category, our client is a global food and beverage business. With a strategic focus on strengthening their presence in stronghold markets they continue to build their business through innovation and acquisition. With their brand present in over 40% of all UK households they are both highly profitable and a well-known consumer brand. With brand investment on the rise, they are now looking for a dynamic National Account Executive to grow and develop their career with with this supportive business.

This unique NAE role will evolve as follows:

  • In months 0-3 you will learn the role of an NAE supporting on leading accounts such as Tesco and Sainsburys
  • In months 3-6 you'll be given full P&L for customers such as Ocado.com and Booths to manage at head office level
  • During months 6-12 you'll create and roll out an online strategy to be implemented across all top 4 Grocery customers
  • Finally in months 12-24 you'll look after the formats strategy (forecourts, conveneince, online) across all Grocery customers
  • You'll then hopefully go on to manage a top 4 Grocery customer with full JBP responsibility

The successful candidate will be of degree calibre, with at least 2 years of sales or commercial experience in an FMCG or retail environment. As either an NAE looking for a step into grocery/retail, a high potential field sales executive or an assistant buyer you will need to have a strong commercial focus and be able to demonstrate successful stakeholder management and commercial understanding.
