Recruitment Consultant – Retail / Consumer Goods

Based in Manchester City Centre

Working in partnership with household name retailers and suppliers we offer both retained and contingency recruitment solutions across commercial head office functions including Buying, Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain and eCommerce.
We remain committed to our growth strategy and as a result are looking to expand our operation across a range of divisions. If you are currently operating as an Account Manager, Sales Executive or Business Development Manager then you could be part of these exciting plans.
The role will include:
- Identifying new business development opportunities
- Sourcing candidates (headhunting) for a variety of commercial assignments
- Interviewing candidates and offering career guidance
- Developing and managing client relationships
- Managing the full recruitment process from briefing to offer stage
- Providing a candidate and client service second to none
Working within a small, friendly and successful team you will learn the key skills required to become a successful consultant. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level with a strong desire to succeed within a career in sales. It is essential you have a confident and outgoing demeanour and can demonstrate an excellent track record of account management and new business development. You will be given a large amount of autonomy to create and maintain your own client base.
The successful incumbent will be given the opportunity to quickly climb the management ladder and will also have the added incentive of seeing significant growth in their earnings in year 2 and 3 with excellent benefits including company car subject to achieving company targets.
