Business leading role with full P&L accountability. This is an opportunity to take a stand alone business, part of a major food manufacturing group, through a period of growth and innovation.

This appointment will offer candidates the chance to manage their own business, set the strategy and deliver the bottom line through an executive team of senior managers. Operating in a fast moving product sector, supplying leading retailers and foodservice organisations, you will have to be expert in leading from the front, interfacing with customers yourself at senior levels.

Product innovation and quality are key drivers in this business, supplying as it does premier High Street retailers. Therefore, there is a requirement for an operating standard that is both flexible and robust in approach. It is likely that you will have led private label customer partnerships in the past. From a manufacturing perspective you must be adept at setting and leading a continuous improvement culture to improve bottom line profitability.

To be considered for this General Manager role, you must be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, well developed manufacturing understanding, a successful track record in private label partnership and a background in leading large teams. If you have all of that, then this role will definitely be of interest.
