- This is an exciting time to join the business and be part of a motivated and dynamic team, allowing you to develop the breadth of your commercial experience and feel part of an integrated, well-connected business
- The purpose of this role will be the development and delivery of the Foodservice annual plan objectives within the Del Wholesale & HoReCa channels to achieve our client's key business targets.
- This will involve negotiation of new listings and trading terms - as well as coordinating with route to market wholesalers to ensure smooth implementation
- This role has 4 direct reports and will report directly into the SD so a strategic man-manager is required.
- The role is office based but highly flexible for the right person.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the generation of customer specific business plans, through tendering for new contracts, and developing customer relationships to build brand reputation within the HoReCa sector, driving visibility and implementing product launches at customer level.
- The successful candidate would need to demonstrate a successful track record of generating new business and JBP negotiation with major Delivered Wholesalers.
- Experience of conducting major negotiation and monitoring performance by category is essential.
- Well-honed communication skills will be necessary to influence and build effective relationships internally and externally
- The ideal candidate will already possess key contacts within the HoReCa sector (Hotels & Caterers especially) that can be leveraged to our client's commercial advantage.
- Solid experience of managing customers in the HoReCa sector, and an understanding of the complex structure within Foodservice would be a huge asset
- Experience within Brand and O/L is also preferable.
