Category Insight Director - Grocery

A new and exciting opportunity to join the team of a global insight consultancy. You will lead the UK retail team who focus on delivering insights into the grocery channel.

This consultancy is one that is well established in the UK market with a broad portfolio of products and services that they offer their clients. The main part of their business focusses on retailers and FMCG businesses, although they also work with other companies in consumer goods and work with a number of global divisions with FTSE 100 businesses.

Within the role you will drive the UK retail strategy in conjunction with the global retail team. Your main objectives in the role will be to:

• Create new solutions for clients based on the portfolio of services that ultimately increase revenue growth within new and existing retail clients
• Manage client relationships at a strategic level including contract renewals and recruitment
• Develop the portfolio of retail clients
• Lead and develop the retail client development team

To apply for this role you will have experience working in a commercially focussed insight role either in a consumer goods business, a retailer or an insight consultancy. Experience in one or more of the following areas would be highly beneficial:

• Shopper Insights
• Category Management
• Customer Marketing

You will demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to manage 2nd and 3rd line reports and will be extremely well networked within the UK grocery industry.
