Job Details
My client is one of the most well respected premium FMCG names within their category, with global reach within premium hotels, Michelin starred restaurants and international hotel groups. Their strategy is to provide a quality product and service to high profile customers, either directly through ambassadorial activation or indirectly through their global distribution network. Due to growth within the company they are looking to take on an on Sales Manager to join their team.
Reporting directly to the Founder of this rapidly growing business, you will be responsible for to helping drive growth in key accounts within in the UK and Internationally, help to open up new opportunities for the brand, whilst also managing a growing sales team. Key accounts include large international hotel groups, specialist caterers, and premium travel accounts. You will assist the sales team in managing and acquiring new distributor relationship and grow presence within new and existing accounts. You will be involved in executing strategies for the account base both in the UK and internationally to deliver Annual Operating Plans, supported by strong commercial insight which is also key to the responsibilities for this role.
This is a meaty role which has requires experience in a number of different areas, including but not exclusive to; strategic management and development of sales teams; experience managing key accounts (ideally those within the list above) and developing new distributor and national/international account relationships; strong international and distributor management background. This requires a highly commercial individual who has proven strategic sales experience who is a seasoned and highly effective negotiator. Wearing many hats, this is really a role where you need to get stuck in and work with your team to get the best out of the accounts and the best for the brands. In addition to the above criteria, if you have worked with luxury brands this would be a significant advantage.
