National Account Manager-Top 2 retail accounts. Extremely rewarding role with the opportunity to grow your own team, autonomous environment, rapid progression to UK Sales Manager within 12 month period for a highly successful FMCG business in a growing category.

 

 

THE COMPANY 

 

This business is, in a period of huge growth. A fourth year of double digit across the 3 areas of business they operate in.

The company has a very commercial culture and is an excellent opportunity for a NAM to move out of the Blue chip style corporate world, to a much smaller business, with a new focus, on a new category.

Due to the growth of the business and continued aspirations to dominate their category, they need a focus and a driver for their retail channel. The investment in the channel and plan to introduce 40 new SKUS in a 12 month period should make this an attractive opportunity for anybody. Coupled with the opportunity to build your own team.

The company is backed by two multinational business and therefore benefits from backroom support and experience, whilst operating as an individual entity with all the individuality and flair of a start up.

 

 

THE ROLE 

 

 

The National Account Manager will be fully responsible for the strategic maintenance and growth of the multi-million pound trading retail channel. This means as a National Account Manager you will be selling in new listings, implementing overall strategy for the channel, internal budget planning for profit, volume and revenue.

This National Account Manager has the backing and the tools in place to become a UK Sales Manager within 12 months. You will be required after probation to start to recruit into YOUR sales team something you will not get the opportunity for in your Blue Chip business.

This is a huge opportunity for an ambitious hungry National Account Manager who wants the freedom to and opportunity to accelerate your career.

 

 

THE PERSON 

 

  • 3-5 years Previous experience and a proven track record working with a major grocery multiples including Boots & Lloyds Pharmacy
  • Experience of working with multi-million pound P&Ls.
  • Some cross functional experience desired.
  • Is influential and builds effective links with key management both internal and with the customer.
  • Proven track record of managing NPD.
  • Demonstrable drive and enthusiasm
  • Graduate calibre
