The Company:

Part of a large international group of companies, the UK business carries a wide range of products across personal care, cosmetics and fragrances. The business trades across most channels including grocery, online, mail order, high street, wholesale, department store and discounters. The range includes some well-known brands as well as private label and licensed products. Part of a £200m+ group of companies they are financially solid, profitable and continuing to grow. Due to internal promotions my client is now looking to appoint an ambitious Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager to help continue with the UK’s growth plans.

The Role:

You will inherit a number of Key Accounts as well as looking to develop opportunities with new retailers. You will work closely with the Sales Director, although also be given a wide remit to act with autonomy and follow up with prospects. Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders you will look to bring new products to market and constantly be open to exploring new commercial avenues.

The Candidate:

You should be able to think on your feet and have the confidence to present to senior buyers across different retail channels. You will be keen to progress and ideally already have some experience within personal care, fragrances, cosmetics or an aligned market. You will be comfortable working both on your own and as part of a small team.
