Job Details
Our client is a premium alcoholic beverages business supplying premium wines, rums, gins, vodkas and whiskies across the On Trade channels in the UK. With a portfolio of renowned brands, this global business offers tremendous potential for progression and development. In order to drive growth and brand equity in the On Trade sector we require a Field Sales & Account Manager to manage directly several high profile accounts and also lead a team of Sales Executives in Scotland.
Based ideally in the Central Belt area of Scotland candidates will demonstrate a good knowledge of alcohol sales and people management in the On Trade sector. The role is split into two main areas, one part is leading a team of Sales Executives who each manage a specific territory in the Scottish On Trade. Strong exposure to team management, people development and leadership are therefore vital for this role. The 2nd part of the role is to directly manage National and Regional Accounts thus strong commercial, forecasting and relationship development skills are important.
Your personal skills will include tenacity, drive and creativity together with a broad commercial understanding of account management and relationship development. Educated to degree level, candidates will also demonstrate strong leadership and high levels of gravitas. Candidates will have high level of drive for premium spirits brands and a passion to achieve exceptional results via their team and directly across a wide selection of prominent customers.

Critical Criteria points:
- Background exposure to working with BWS, ideally spirits.
- Strong team & people management skills
- A dynamic and capable approach with scope for strong future progression.
- Extensive exposure to sales, account management in either branded Drinks or Premium Brands.
- Good knowledge of the on-trade sector
- Demonstrable evidence of strong negotiation, strategic development, commercial and planning skills.
