Quality Manager

Your challenge
We’re absolutely passionate about quality and as Quality Account Manager we’ll expect you to be too. Your challenge will be to not just keep standards high but also continuously improve them, making sure we meet retailers’ expectations, the strictest food safety requirements and develop a best in class quality team.

You will:

• Share best practice and lead continuous improvement through planned and meticulous audits
• Ensure that we have the right early warning systems and problem solving tools and that people are trained   to use them
• Be the trusted quality interface between customers, the factory and new product development teams

• Work with site quality teams to deliver audit compliance. To ensure that the site maintains     certification against relevant retailer standards (e.g. TFMS)
• Lead the assessment of product against attribute profile and communicate results / improvement initiatives   to customers
• Support the development of quality systems to meet or exceed customer requirements.
• Ensure hygiene and GMP standards within the operational areas and associated facilities meet the    expectations of our retail customers.  
• Own the handover of new products from NPD to Operations and develop clear specifications and quality    attributes.
• Lead the compliance with customer ethical initiatives, providing information and support to complete    ustomer information requests.
• To drive quality improvements through specific initiatives, the prioritisation of site quality improvement   plans and sharing of best practice.
• Co-ordinate NPD interface with factory and customer, ensuring all associated QA paperwork, procedures and   controls are followed to satisfy customer expectations. e.g. specifications,  artwork, nutritional    analysis.
• To ensure that all agreed customers quality requirements are implemented and reviewed on a regular basis
• Manage the quality communication streams between retails and Müller Dairy
 

Your profile 
A graduate in Food Science with HACCP qualifications, you must have a strong track record of driving change and improvement in a quality management environment. In particular, you will need experience in supplier assurance, customer codes of practice, traceability and control, and hygiene & allergen management and control. Accustomed to leading cross-functional and multi-site teams, you must be technically skilled, quick thinking, decisive and resilient under the pressure of tight deadlines.
